Comenius Activities

The first year of the Comenius project Making our Mark: Language promotion through exploring cultural roots is almost finished. Together, we made many interesting activities in Romania and in England.
In England, our first activity was on Sunday, 1st June. We had to complete a questionnaire about Great Britain. This was our first activity so we were a bit scared. Finally, we arrived at Plymouth and everything was fine.
On Monday we had our first day at Hele's School. We were very exited. Everything was fine and we had a nice day with our partners.
On the third day we had to work on the video project about Plymouth. Our classmate, Alexandru Ristea, brought his camera and we made a great job.
We also had a lesson with Mr. C. Rowbury about environment and we made many interesting activities: we made a poster and we learnt how to protect the plants and the animals.
On the fourth day we had a trip to Cornwall. We took many photos and we continued our work on the video project.
On Thursday we had the most interesting day. First, we cooked a tradition English food. Then we had a debate about Chico Mendes with Mr Parke. Finally, we had to design a T-shirt on the computer.
Next week on Tuesday we had our last day at Hele’s School. Our first lesson was about housing in UK with Mr Rowbury. Then we went to the town centre and we spent our last evening with our partners at bowling.
Next day we returned home and we were very happy because we had a great time with our partners and we made many interesting activities.
